My paintings are symbolic and spiritual. By using universal symbolism in my paintings, I can say a lot more with a symbolic image of the human figure as goddess then I can with words. My main focus is the meaning of life and death in a human body and the transcendent union of the masculine (God) and feminine principles (Goddess). My figurative oil paintings and rope bondage performance answer questions about my identity as a human being and spiritual being. I am exploring “Who am I?” and trying to understand “Who is the Goddess? What does she look like?” When I am experiencing an altered state in rope bondage, these questions lead to the answer: the human being is the divine. I emerge from my small individual ego to a more expensive and universal awareness. xoxo
